Here are some tips to make skinning easier, faster, and more enjoyable. ^_^

1. You don't always have to make your own hair. Some people make really expertly shaded bases! Check out my second account, Ainzo123sBases, for some. I don't, however, use bases with pre-shaded skin, as I find that a little cheaty!

2. If you are using a base, the colour of the skin is usually bad for shading, and while you're changing it, you might forget a part and get mixed up while shading. To prevent this, change the skin colour to something such as light green or purple. Then pick out a better skin colour.
3. Here are some details that people seem to like. You may want to use these in your skins to make them look better and get more likes on your skins!
4. Hold skin contests. Your followers will feel more involved in your skin making, and you might gain some new followers!

5. I rarely use colours in this area of the colour wheel, because I find them to be a bit too bright and hard on the eyes. However, there are times when you can use them appropriately.

6. DO NOT STEAL SKINS! You can and will get your account deleted.
7. If you've started to use PMC and want to start making 1.8 skins, make most of the skin with the Skindex editor, then add 1.8 details with Miners Need Cool Shoes. It's similar to the Skindex editor and once you understand all the controls, it's really easy to use.
